Does anyone any have suggestions as to what my diet should be, and my daily exercise? I don't know if I can get to the gym everyday, but, I do have an exercise bike at home.
Here are some pictures of what I look like now, this was pretty hard for me. XD

I want to lose my belly fat, my "lovehandles" but mostly, my thighs!
So I commented on FB already, then realized you said to comment here. :)
ReplyDeleteFind a form of exercise you *like*, whether that's running, biking, rowing, martial arts, hitting the gym, swimming, or whatever. If you have someone to do it with, bonus points! Just make sure it's something you like enough to keep doing it for 50 years, because you want a long-term change, not just a quick fix.
Then do it. You'll have some false starts, because an exercise that seemed fun might not be, but keep trying different things until something feels good, then stick with it. Oh, and btw, you won't really get a good feel for any real form of exercise until you've been doing it 3-4 times a week for about a month, after which the hurting starts to fade...
Find a friend. Andrea and I have started up Belly dancing together to tone up and lose some weight. It's always easier when you have a support network ^.^
ReplyDeleteHmmm... As long as you still eat well, I'd say use the bike and watch some TV while doing it or actually go bike riding in your area because of all of the hill climbs and exploring you could do : ) If you really want to tone your thighs, bike while standing up. Trust me, it's going to burn... A lot... Lol... You'll notice a difference after 2 or 3 times of at least biking around for 30 minutes or so. Don't forget to hydrate and to pace yourself. I love you and I don't want any phone calls about you getting hit by anything or running into any trees or parked cars. <3
ReplyDeleteI dislike aerobic exercises myself; so I tend to stay away from running/jogging and anything fast paced because I hate gasping for breath, lol. I think the best exercise for women, bar none, is walking quickly (with uphill intervals), because you can do it for a longer period of time, and it doesn't strain on your knees/ankles. Stretching exercises like yoga are AWESOME for women too(not those new age jumping-up-and-down-like-crazy-versions though, I like the slow kinds :D). Finally, I think the rules of thumb that have worked BEST for me in regards to controlling weight over time are this: Eat frequent little meals, like 5 small ones a day instead of 3 big ones, and no/less sugar in my drinks + tons of H20. - Torrie
ReplyDeleteYou don't look too bad for a gal that has had a kid! I don't think it will be as hard as you think it will be. Once you get your routine down and get in the zone, you'll be back into suicide shape before you know it! But then again, you were always a hot mama :p
ReplyDeleteP.S. Seriously. DDR. Even if it is only a part of your exercise regimen, at least it will be fun and something to look forward to. Just did my first night with the ankle weights and I feel awesome!!!!! <3 you girly ^^
